UniCollege held its annual graduation ceremony on Wednesday, April 19th, to recognise and celebrate the achievements of 160 graduates.
The graduation speaker, Matseleng Mfeka, delivered an inspiring address, encouraging the graduates to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact in the world.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Special Awards, which recognise students who have excelled in their academic performance, commitment and determination. Merit Awards were given to students who achieved the highest overall result for a specific programme, while the Academic Honours Award was bestowed upon a student with outstanding academic achievement.
Veronica Vermeulen received both the Academic Honours Award and the Merit Award for Financial Accounting. Lebogang Monnane was awarded a bursary to continue her Paralegal studies at UniCollege, recognizing her outstanding academic performance, as well as her conduct in her personal and professional life.
Other Merit Awards were bestowed upon Joshua de Beer (Art & Design),Saskia Slatter (Business Management), Kevin van der Walt (Human Resource Management), Danielle Bens (Marketing Management), Barbara Dunn (Educare), Aldre Groenewald (IT Programming), Enrique Peentz (IT Technical Specialist), Ashleigh Aldridge (Project Management), Kayla Labuschagne (Technical Financial Accounting), Lebogang Monnane (Executive Personal Assistant), Hannah De Beer (Legal Assistant) and Ardita Goodall (Paralegal Practitioner).
Ian Duraan was awarded the Leadership Award for his high academic standard, active participation in campus activities, excellent conduct on campus, and outstanding leadership skills.
